Jewelry Making and Design

by Augustus F. Rose & Antonio Cerino

Reprint of 1917 first edition

Not to be confused with the 1947 work of the same name, this is the original, unabridged 1917 edition which, at 463 pages, is 157 pages longer and contains the 13 color plates absent in the reprint of the 1947 edition.

Augustus F. Rose was also the author of  Copper Work (another of our vintage reprints) and a leader in the American Arts and Crafts Movement.

This book will guide you to create beautiful and unique metal objects utilizing authentic Arts & Crafts jewelry and metalworking techniques described by an acknowledged leader in the American Arts and Crafts Movement.

This 6-1/2" x 9",  463 page book is perfect bound, contains  54 chapters and is profusely illustrated with  146 plates (13 in color) and 215 figures and photographs .... this is a comprehensive work.
