Warren K. Moorehead - 1910
Two Volume Set - 864 pages

Gustav's
Library Vintage Reprint
We were very fortunate in finding this two volume set in
excellent condition and are currently working on the reprint. There are
864 pages in the two volumes along with over 400 plates (some in color).
Undoubtedly Warren K. Moorehead's finest and
most polished literary work. This awesome set contains hundreds of
photographs and full page plates of implements, ornaments, weapons and utensils
of the North American Stone Age made of shell, bone, copper, pottery, flint,
slate, basketry and other exotic materials. Unbelievably
all-inclusive, if you have seen it or can think of it, it's probably in here.
Illustrated with over 700 photographs, diagrams, line drawings and color plates
and a hundred years old. It's no wonder that an original set in good
condition (if you can find one) sells for $650 - $1,0000 Out of reach
for most of us (until now), we have republished it in a soft cover format in all
of its glory, including the original color plates.
Please take a look below at a few of the great
plates in this book.
Softbound, approximately 7-1/2" x 10", 864 page set of 2 volumes, contains
37 chapters, 300+ full page
plates (including 5 full color and 14 photogravure), 400+ figures, illustrations
and photographs. $54.95 for the 2 volume set
